Blenkinsop Token 2009

Morecambe Juniors, once again, did their club proud by re-taking the Blenkinsop Token on Saturday 29th August.

On a very windy and testing day over the Morecambe Course, the Morecambe Team found themselves 10 shots adrift after 9 holes but came through in the end to win by just one shot from Lancaster.

Although winning is a team effort, the leading score of the day; a magnificent 71, was posted by our own David Gartside. All in all it was an excellent day with all three clubs competing in the true spirit of the Blenkinsop Token.
