Travel Directions - by road and rail
Morecambe Golf Club is very easy to find by road, whether travelling from the north or the south.
Most visitors or golf coach parties will be travelling via the motorway network using the M6, which you leave at Junction 34 and head into Lancaster on the A683.
Follow the signs for Morecambe and carry straight on through two large roundabouts. At the third "Shrimp" roundabout (Toby Pub & Carvery) bear right through a mini-roundabout onto Broadway. Keep straight on until you reach the promenade at the Broadway Hotel.
Turn right onto the promenade and carry on for about half a mile until you see the Clubhouse elevated on your right.
There is ample parking at the front of the clubhouse or down the ramp to the main parking area at the rear. All coaches should park in the designated lower coach-parking area. For SatNav users just key in the postcode LA4 6AJ.
For rail travellers, two options are available. The West Coast mainline actually runs alongside part of the course and travellers can either alight at Lancaster or Carnforth stations (although Carnforth can only be used for local rail routes). From Lancaster there are regular departures to Morecambe (platform 2) from where a taxi or local bus service may be used to reach the course. Also on this line is the local railway station at Bare but this entails a ½ mile walk to the course!
