1st Hole
Features
With severe cross-bunkers at 210 yards and a tempting gap, the tee shot needs careful consideration. Most golfers will lay up short leaving an easy mid-iron to the green. With out-of-bounds to the left and trees to the right, caution reaps its rewards. The raised green is very exposed to the elements and guarded on the front left and right by deep bunkers, which collect any short approach shots particularly left of centre.

Pro's Tip
The ideal line and distance is to the centre of the fairway, just short of furthest cross-bunker. From here an 8 or 9 iron should reach the centre of the green. Better to overclub, as an approach shot dropping short will invariably end up in the green-side bunker. The green slopes back to front with a steep apron.
