President - Ian Robinson
Ian joined Morecambe Golf Club in 1976. He was Social Secretary for 10 years and has served two terms of office as a Club Director and was Club Captain in 1995. From 2003 to 2005 he chaired the Club Centenary Committee. He is a member of the English Golf Union and takes a keen interest in all aspects of the history of golf. He strongly believes in both club and golfing tradition.
Captain - Wyn Thomas
Wyn has been a club member for over 23 years and during that time has served on various sub-committees. He was Social Secretary for six years and served two terms of office as a Director of the club; as Social Chairman on his first term and House Chairman for the second. Wyn is the first native Welshman in recent years to serve as Captain of the club. A little known fact is that as a child he grew up as a non-English speaker; he is now, to the relief of members and fellow directors, "fluent in English" but with a charming Welsh accent.
Lady Captain - Sheila Shadwell
Sheila has been a member of Morecambe Golf Club since 1978 and has been an active supporter of the Ladies Section, serving on many committees. She is a past Match Secretary and over many years has been closely involved with inter-club team selection, particularly the Coronation Shield.
