Morecambe Golf Club is fortunate to be situated in a sheltered location on the edge of Morecambe Bay and enjoys what is probably the mildest climate in the whole of the United Kingdom. Even when other areas of the Lancashire coast suffer inclement weather, our sheltered location between the Pennines and Lakeland hills ensures good playing conditions. If you are looking to organise a golfing party and want to be reasonably assured of getting in a full round of golf then we are pleased to welcome you. In the summer Morecambe's mini-climate ensures that it consistently scores high on the "most hours of sunshine" charts.
To assist with planning your golfing trip to Morecambe Golf Club we have assembled a number of golfing packages suited to golfing societies and larger visiting parties. Summer packages include the offer of one golfer playing for free with every twelve booked.
Starting times for visiting parties will be allocated at the time any booking is confirmed and these will normally commence as follows:
- MONDAY to FRIDAY - Starting from 10.00am.
- SATURDAY - Starting from 9.45am.
- SUNDAY - Starting from 11.00am.
In order to avoid unnecessary delays in the commencement of play, we would ask you to please ensure that your party is assembled at the 1st Tee ten minutes before your given teeing off time. Alternative times cannot be guaranteed for anyone missing allocated starting times.
Full club facilities are open to all approved visiting parties, so you can enjoy a full day out in pleasant surroundings with hospitality second to none. Please also be aware of our standard Terms and Conditions with particular attention to dress rules both on and off the course.
