Principal Staff
Steward - Antony Robinson
Antony was appointed Steward at Morecambe
in our Centenary Year and is responsible for the running of the two bars, presentation
of the Clubhouse and attending the needs of members and visitors
alike.
He is available in the Clubhouse at most times (excepting Mondays & Tuesdays) and is only too happy to answer any questions relating to club facilities, dress code and refreshments. Special needs or disabled access problems will be courteously handled by Antony or any member of his staff.
Visiting parties are pre-notified to Antony (except on rest days, when another senior staff member will be on duty) and details of any special requirements or other queries can be addressed on arrival.

Course Manager - Colin Parish
Colin was appointed Course Manager at the beginning
of 2003 and has carried on the long tradition of course excellence
using tried and tested green-keeping practice combined with the
latest maintenance machinery.
Colin has the distinction of being a Master Greenkeeper, a member of a select group of course managers in the UK, and is a traditionalist in course management practices. He is especially keen to promote the ideas of our original course designer, Dr Alister MacKenzie.
Being a "resort" course, Colin sees his role as producing a testing golf course but at the same time providing an enjoyable outing for visitors who will inevitably be admiring the view as much as their golf!
Recent course improvements have been made with better definition of fairways and grubbing out dense undergrowth, revetting bunkers, thinning tree plantations with extensive coppicing. A club policy of improved wildlife habitat has also seen the installation of a large number of nesting boxes and wild pasture.
